Shylah Abbott

Distinguished track and field athlete who specializes in sprints and hurdles. A Founding Member of DDS Athletes in 2017, she established an extensive record of excellence, becoming the current DDS record holder in multiple age groups across an impressive array of events. These records encompass the 100m, 200m, 400m, 80mH, 100mH, 300mH, 1500m, Javelin, Shot Put, Long Jump, and High Jump.

Her high school career was highlighted by unparalleled success in the hurdles, where she achieved State Champion and All-American status in the 300mH for three consecutive years (2022, 2023, and 2024), and also secured the 100mH State Champion and All-American title in 2024. Upon graduation from high school, Ms. Abbott matriculated at Morningside University to continue her collegiate track career.
